Vocal Coaching

Polina Bogdanova is a staff répétiteur of Palau de Les Arts (Valencia) and vocal coach who has worked with opera companies and young artist programmes across Europe, including Theater Bremen, the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, La Monnaie Academy (Brussels) and the International Opera Academy (Ghent).

Private coaching is available for singers preparing opera roles, auditions, competitions, and concert repertoire. Lessons include musical interpretation, dramatic and textual analysis, assistance with learning new repertoire, and, when necessary, intensive role preparation.

A particular specialisation is twentieth- and twenty-first-century opera, contemporary music and world premieres, with a focus on the repertoire of composers such as Richard Strauss, Berg, Britten, Janáček, Poulenc and Shostakovich. Polina also offers native-speaker diction coaching and musical preparation for Russian repertoire.

Coaching is available both for international singers preparing future engagements at other opera houses and for artists seeking additional musical support before or during productions at Palau de Les Arts. Sessions take place either at Palau de Les Arts, for singers engaged in current productions or projects, or in a private studio in Mislata (Valencia), as access to the theatre is restricted.
