RIP, cher Maître. Thank you for years of your classes, our talks, your wisdom and humour, and for being a true godfather in my professional life. The musical world feels orphaned now. (Photo from 2014, most likely by Michel Cooreman)
I’ve just come home after the last rehearsal in 2015 and suddenly realised an incredible thing: all I dreamt about last New Year Eve came true this December! Including something I didn’t even dare to dream, like being involved into two great productions of La Monnaie (Dream place! Dream job! Dream team!)! Apart of that this month I had a honour to play a concert with amazing singers of MM Academy and to create, prepare and perform two concerts of Russian Classics Festival of La Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth; also had several workshops with José Van Dam and Guy Joosten; and yes, got married the craziest way: a ceremony in the morning, a rehearsal in La Monnaie in the afternoon and a big party in the evening. My dear friends, thank you for being with me! Take courage to dream! Happy New Year #workaholic#itwasaverygoodyear#bonneannée2016
