Pianist, opera répétiteur, and coach

Young artists from our operastudio involved into upcoming epic Zauberflöte; we’ve just polished their preparation with watching and analysing the video of the production. These talented minds make me think that there might be some hope for our messed up reality @iriagoti @antozanetti._ @laurafleurmezzo @leonardo.moyano.ortiz @iraklipkhaladze

The most surreal thing is that we still continue to make art these days. As if it still makes any sense. As if all the world horror happening wasn’t our fault too. As if global degradation of our profession wasn’t our fault either. As if what we do wasn’t just escaping from reality and pretending that nothing is going on — or that we have nothing to do with it.
A photo from the piano dress rehearsal of our Rusalka; the premiere is on January 30, under the direction of the wonderful Cornelius Meister.

Overwhelmed with our premiere of The Queen of Spades yesterday! This time, along with traditional couple of hundreds of répétiteur duties it included stage piano with acting, singing and dancing, hence the outfit. Terrific cast, enormous support from theater colleagues, the highest quality leading by our music director James Gaffigan
