“Rise, Russians, to a glorious war, to a mortal war!”—our incredible choir sang to me this morning, as I dutifully coached their pronunciation.
“Are you bloody kidding me?!”—said my brain, my heart, and every fiber of my being, before I lost it and worked the whole session in tears.
I don’t know what’s worse—the war itself, the world’s attempts to stop it, or the quiet horror of us simply getting used to it.
Masterpiece of music. Nightmare of a text. Phenomenal choir work (gracias chicos ❤️). And one devastated pianist.
