R.I.P. Michael Börgerding. Perhaps you were taken from Earth so suddenly just because Heaven needs you for a new theatre project (and urgently requires your courage, passion, sense of humour, and your kindest smile). My thoughts are with Bremen 💔 @theaterbremen

Goodbye Bremen! 5 seasons, 34 productions, 12 Liederabends, numerous wonderful projects with Schauspiel and Bremer Philharmoniker. Thank you everyone for these great times! Now a new chapter begins…

Season 2018-2019: done! Fidelio, Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Lulu, L’Étoile, Die tote Stadt, Der Rosenkavalier; the new creation “Positionen – Verführung aus dem Serail”, 3 Liederabends (including Winterreise); two Schauspiel evenings, around 20 projects with Bremer Phil orchestra (including performing a piece with 4 trombones and percussion audition, da-da-da-boom); replacing 10 excess kilos with 5 kilos of muscles, having a blind eye for 2 weeks, stopping drinking alcohol; closing all projects in Belgium and moving out, changing an apartment in Bremen, taking and raising Australian Shepherd puppy, restarting painting, organising moving my parents… but NOT learning German and haven’t been kissed. Damn 🙂
